The whole point of the timing of the trip was to avoid the months of hurricanes in the West Indies. on 26 July he arrived back at his home port. Jacques Yves Le Toumelin then put Kruun (name means Thunder in Breton) in storage where it stayed for years while Le Toumelin went on in his professional life. This book is a good straight forward story about the single handed adventures of an acomplished sailor on a yacht in post WWII and the western world was still in a bit of flux.
